What the forms collect
Depending on which form you use, we ask for some of the following:
- Your name and email — always required, so we can reply.
- Phone number — optional on every form.
- Building or address, and unit number — on the maintenance and status certificate forms, so the request reaches the right property.
- Whether we may enter your unit — on the maintenance form only, so we know how to schedule the visit.
- Company, trade and service area — on the vendor form.
- Role of interest — on the careers form.
- Closing or move-in dates — on the status certificate and rental forms.
- Whatever you write in the message box.
We do not ask for identification numbers, banking details, credit information or a Social Insurance Number anywhere on this website. If a rental application later needs that kind of information, we will explain the process to you properly before asking for anything.
Why we collect it, and what we do with it
To act on what you asked for: get a repair done, produce a certificate, consider your company for work, read your application, or answer your question. We do not sell your information, rent it, or share it for marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list without asking.
How your message reaches us
When you press Send, the form passes your message to Resend, an email delivery service, which sends it on to Onyx as an ordinary email. It then sits in our email account like any other message. Resend is based in the United States, which means your message crosses the border in transit.
Depending on the request, we may pass the relevant details to the people who need them — the property manager for your building, or a trade attending a repair.
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes the technical details of your visit, including your IP address, to serve the page and protect the site from abuse.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from a third party — fonts and images are served from this site itself. Simply reading a page here does not hand your details to anyone.
How long we keep it
Maintenance and certificate requests become part of the record for that property and are kept as long as the corporation or owner needs them. Vendor, careers and rental enquiries are kept while they are useful and then deleted. If you would rather we removed something sooner, ask.
Your rights
Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) you can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it. Write to the address below and we will handle it.
